‘મૂલ્યશિક્ષણ: સંકલ્પના અને હેતુઓ’
Abstract
છેલ્લા બે દાયકાઓથી દેશ અને દુનિયામાં મૂલ્યો, નીતિ અને ચારિત્ર્યના શિક્ષણમાં લોકોને નવેસરથી અને વધારે રસ પડયો છે. મૂલ્યોનું ધોવાણ અને હાસ થયાની લૌકિક માન્યતા છે. મૂલ્યો એ તેમના શિક્ષણની તાત્ત્વિક મીમાંસાનો વિકાસ પૂર્વ અને પશ્ચિમ બન્ને સંસ્કૃતિઓમાં થયો છે. આ સંજોગોમાં આ પ્રકરણમાં મૂલ્યશિક્ષણ અથવા મૂલ્ય—અભિમુખ શિક્ષણ- Value-Oriented education અથવા મૂલ્ય-સંયોજિત શિક્ષણ- Value- integrated education) ની સંકલ્પના, મૂલ્યશિક્ષણના હેતુઓ અને વર્તમાન સમયમાં મૂલ્ય શિક્ષણની પ્રસ્તુતતા કે મહત્ત્વ વિશે ૨જૂઆત કરવાનો ઉપક્રમ છે. મૂલ્ય શિક્ષણ માટેની લૌકિક માંગના તાત્ત્વિક પ્રશ્નોને પણ અહીં આછેરો સ્પર્શ કર્યો છે.
