Abstract

This study explores the impact of the Digital India program on rural villages in India. The survey of 100 households was conducted to examine the effect of the Digital India program on education, healthcare, employment, and digital literacy.  This study assesses how the Digital India program has impacted rural communities, focusing on key indicators such as digital access, quality of life, and economic opportunities. This study also explores the challenges encountered during implementation, including issues of digital literacy, affordability, and infrastructure inadequacies. By analyzing these aspects, the paper seeks to comprehensively understand the program's outcomes and identify strategies for enhancing its area. With the government's Digital India ingenuity to transform the country into a digitally empowered society, India is witnessing a rapid digital revolution. The urban population has access to digital technologies, but the rural areas remain largely excluded from this digital revolution. The results reveal a significant improvement in digital access and quality of life, but challenges such as limitations in infrastructure persist. The study provides recommendations for enhancing the reach and effectiveness of the Digital India program.
