Understanding behavioural changes observed among millennial with respect to use of mobile wallets in retailing

In today-world, mobile phone has become important part of regular life. Due to technology, mobile users
can nowadays use their phones to make money payment by using applications installed in the phone. When
smartphones can role as wallets, it is called “Digital Wallet”. Mobile Wallet has reformed the world’s
payments system by providing numerous digital services right from utility payment to e-tailing. In India, the
increasing adoption of the smart phone’s and mobile internet has given a boost to the mobile wallet industry
in India. The present study is focused on preference of youngster’s customers towards mobile wallets in
Rajkot City and effectively analyzed the impact of demographic variables on the usage of Mobile wallets. A
total of 50 respondents was analyzed and their responses were analyzed. This study will help in developing
suitable policies for Mobile wallet companies to tap the potential consumers.
