The Mahabharata is considered the fifth Veda in Indian culture, written by Maharishi Vyasa. It is often said, “What’s not in the Mahabharata is not in life.” Its narrative weaves together complex themes such as duty, morality, righteousness, and the eternal battle between good and evil. The Mahabharata serves as a moral and philosophical guide, offering timeless lessons that continue to shape the ethical fabric of Indian society. Characters like Arjuna, Krishna, Karna, and Bhishma are revered for their wisdom and embody ideas that resonate with generations.

By examining the impact of his generosity on other characters and the overall narrative, this paper sheds light on Karna’s enduring legacy as a symbol of generosity and compassion in Indian mythology.
