Abstract

Spirituality refers to an individual's or community's pursuit of connection with something larger or greater than themselves. It's a deeply personal and subjective aspect of human experience, often encompassing beliefs about the nature of existence, consciousness, and purpose. While some may find spirituality through organized religion, others might define it through personal growth, meditation, nature, or other avenues whereas moral ethics refers to the principles or standards that govern behaviour and choices, often distinguishing between what is considered "right" and "wrong." Moral ethics can be influenced by various factors, such as cultural upbringing, religious teachings, societal norms, and personal experiences. It involves not just adhering to rules but also considering the consequences of one's actions on others and on society as a whole. The development of Indian youth in terms of spirituality and moral ethics is a multifaceted task. It involves not only formal education but also informal, community, and familial influence. By integrating different approaches in Educational Curriculum ,Community Involvement, Meditation and Mindfulneness, Interfaith Dialogue approaches and fostering a supportive environment that encourages exploration, questioning, and critical thinking, it is possible to promote the development of Indian youth in spirituality and moral ethics. This, in turn, can contribute to the creation of a more compassionate, ethical, and harmonious society.
