Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks have remained an area of research interest globally. Wireless Sensor Network is seen as one of the most promising contemporary technologies for bridging the physical and virtual world thus, enabling them to interact. Wireless Sensor Network has wide domains of interesting application and some of the optimal features like Quick Ad-Hoc deployment, Sleep and Sniff feature, enhanced reach, substantial savings and simplicity due to less number of cables – are some of the key benefits of Wireless Sensor Networks. This paper shows a literature survey of some of the low power devices deployed for WSN applications.
