With an aim to address interconnected global challenges, these goals are part of the 2030 Global Agenda for Sustainable Development. SDG Goal 5 calls to “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”, according to the United Nations, with the target of ending all forms of discrimination, violence, and exploitation of women and girls everywhere. Further, the first target of SDG 16, speaks for the reduction in Honor-Based Violence (HBV), which includes not only murder or killing but even physical, psychological, and sexual violence. The present paper aims to study how HBV is depicted and examined in the films Pink (2016), Parched (2016), and Lipstick Under My Burkha (2016), in the Indian context. There are many concepts, arguments, and ideas layered in the narrative of these films which can lead to some solutions for the reduction of HBV. The paper also scrutinizes all kinds of discrimination, inequalities, and unlawful behaviour women undergo in their daily lives. For the attainment of SDG 2030, all kinds of violence against women must be identified and resolved at the earliest. The films of this study portray the hardships, questions, and conditions of women realistically, living in modern India. The condition is such that it requires the utmost attention and remediation in the Indian subcontinents. Finally, the study leads to a better understanding of the nature of violence and the reasons causing it, ultimately bringing solutions.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2217Application of AHP in Evaluating College Selection Criteria Among Undergraduate Students in Mumbai2025-05-07T03:41:39-05:00Dr. Namrata Vikas Dubenamrata.dube@rediffmail.com
Students in Mumbai face a complex situation when it comes to choosing a college, as they have many different factors to consider. This choice is not just about picking a college; it involves looking at various important aspects like the college's academic reputation, its location, the costs involved and the facilities it offers. Each student has their own views and priorities, which can make the decision-making process quite challenging. This study explores how the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) can be used as a method to evaluate these college selection criteria more systematically. AHP helps by breaking down the decision into a structured model where students can rank the importance of each factor. This way, the research identifies which factors are most influential in guiding students' choices and provides recommendations for colleges to better align their offerings with what students truly want. By using AHP, students can make more informed decisions that reflect their personal priorities and needs in their educational journey.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2233Importance of Mental Health for Sustainable Growth for a Better Future2025-05-08T02:11:14-05:00Vinod Kumarvinod_chauhan20428@yahoo.co.in
Mental health has long been underappreciated in discussions surrounding sustainable development, yet it is integral to achieving long-term growth and prosperity. Transgender individuals often face societal rejection due to their deviation from conventional gender norms. This lack of acceptance poses significant challenges to their pursuit of a dignified life, contributing to heightened stress levels. Stress manifests when individuals experience pressure or threats, which is a common reality for many transgender people.

The present study investigates the quality of life among transgender individuals, analyzing the influence of age and residential area. A total of 60 transgender participants were involved, with 30 aged between 25 and 35 years and another 30 between 36 and 45 years. Both age groups included participants from rural and urban areas. The Quality-of-Life Scale, developed by Sarika Sharma and Dr. Nakhat Nasreen, measured various dimensions such as life satisfaction, spirituality, motivation, happiness, stress reduction, adjustment, physical well-being, personal development, and frustration.

Findings indicated no significant difference in the overall quality of life between the two age groups. However, a lower mean score suggested a slightly diminished quality of life for those aged 36 to 45. A significant disparity emerged concerning residential areas, with urban transgender individuals reporting a higher quality of life than their rural counterparts. These results highlight the need for targeted interventions to enhance the well-being of rural transgender populations, ensuring equitable opportunities and support systems.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2224Bridging the Gap: Fog and Wind-Based Renewable Energy for Farming in Mountainous Regions2025-05-07T05:51:15-05:00Gautam Bondyopadhyaybuddhab75@gmail.comMousumi Mannamousumimanna@gmail.com
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 provide a blueprint for addressing global challenges, including poverty, inequality, and climate change. To address these challenges, there should be improvements in cement quality, demand reduction, and the adoption of sustainable production practices. Considering global variations in raw materials and manufacturing methods, extensive research is required to adjust its chemical and physical properties in order to reduce CO2 emissions.

Cement strength, typically measured by compressive strength, is influenced by factors like fineness and raw material quality. While traditionally assessed by specific surface area, modern LASER diffraction technology allows precise measurement of particle size distribution (PSD). This study demonstrates that engineering PSD alone can enhance cement's strength and durability. By engineering PSD, we can increase cement efficiency, achieving desired strength while reducing overall cement usage. The research exhibits that a 25% improvement in cement efficiency can lead to a 15% reduction in CO2 emissions. These results underline the potential of PSD optimization for achieving significant environmental benefits without compromising construction standards. PSD optimization emerges as a viable strategy to reduce the carbon footprint of the cement industry.

This study thus helps to achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement of NET zero carbon emissions by maintaining the technical and functional integrity of construction materials.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2199Assessing the Sustainability of Packaged Drinking Water in India2025-05-06T06:22:13-05:00Ashutosh Rajpootashutoshrajpoot1999@gmail.comRitanshu Tiwariritanshutiwari94@gmail.comProf. (Dr.) Pawan Kumar Singhdeptofgeography.npgc@gmail.com
The expansion of the Indian packaged drinking water industry has raised concerns about its sustainability regarding environmental, social, and economic impacts. According to Friedman (1970), the main focus of organizational success is to make an impact on society on the wellbeing of employees, ethical culture and corporate social responsibility. Consequently, there has been an increasing interest in exploring unique ways to integrate holistic practices in an effective way to inculcate ethical workplace environments and sustainable development, Tejinder (2024).

Integrating ethical frameworks into the workplace is essential to developing a climate of respect, responsibility, and integrity. This study investigates how Heartfulness meditation practices can improve employees' ethical behavior. Heartfulness meditation provides a distinctive method for developing higher consciousness and compassionate leadership because of its emphasis on a balanced existence. Balanced means to be free from the emotional turbulence caused by any stressful situation. This higher thinking can be achieved only after the level of self-actualization in the ‘hierarchy of needs’ as mentioned by Maslow (1943). The stages in the pyramid of the hierarchy, as shown by the well-known psychologist AH Maslow, can be achieved when organizations can help to provide an environment for employees to develop holistically. When employees feel safe and secure, they will have better self-esteem and feel a sense of belonging. Then it becomes easier for organizations to implement ethical values into the work culture using appropriate means and methods.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2206Empowering Holistic Education: Chinmaya Vision Program’s Integrated to Quality Education2025-05-06T07:49:58-05:00Dr. Dinta Muralidharandinta.muralidharan@cvv.ac.inPratheep Kumarpratheep.kumar@cvv.ac.in
The Chinmaya Vision Program (CVP) is a comprehensive educational initiative designed to provide holistic learning experiences. Values shape both societies and individuals, track their evolution over time, and explain the motivational foundations of attitudes and behaviour. Positive Psychology underscores the significance of values in enhancing the comprehensive development of young adults. Values can evolve, based on experiences, environmental changes, and personal growth. This study aimed to assess the values of individuals aged 18-29 years. A pilot study was conducted using the Life Values Inventory which did not meet the criteria of reliability and validity. It was concluded that the concept of values is context-specific, and there is a need to develop a framework for precise measurement within the Indian context. Hence, an attempt was made to construct a conceptual framework for the assessment of values in young adults aged 18-29 years in the Indian context to ensure its accuracy and relevance A rigorous, widely recognized scale development process was followed, considering various dimensions of values within the Indian context to provide an accurate reflection of the underlying construct. A values scale with 17 items with five factors was developed, achieving a good model fit with acceptable construct reliability and validity. Given the subjective nature of values, it is crucial to measure them accurately to evaluate the impact of initiatives designed to influence them effectively. This study indicates that our educational system is not adequately equipped to support Indian youth in navigating their challenges. This is evidenced by the data analysis, which shows no statistically significant difference in values between the 18-year-old and 29-year-old cohorts. This tool can be effectively utilized to assess the role of values in Indian youth, supporting their development and supporting policy decisions.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2254Medical Imaging and AI: Advancements in Bone Age Prediction2025-05-08T07:52:04-05:00Rumana Anjumrumanaanjum85@gmail.comDr Madhu B Kprofessormadhubk@gmail.com
In the era of growing technology were predict every possible methods are done through computer software. AI employs algorithms designed for medical predictions making process fast and accurate, as in case of bone age assessment, the crucial in paediatric radiology for diagnosing growth disorders, has been revolutionized. Traditional methods like the Greulich-Pyle (GP) atlas and Tanner-Whitehouse (TW) system are laborious and prone to inter-observer discrepancies. On the other hand wrong and weak predictions leads to misappropriations and chaos. Bone age determination plays an essential role in diagnosing and managing paediatric growth disorders, such as short stature, precocious puberty, and growth hormone deficiency. The conventional methods, primarily the GP and TW atlas system, involve comparing radiographs with predefined standards. These methods are limited by subjective interpretations, leading to variability among radiologists.

In AI, specifically deep learning models, has emerged as a transformative tool in medical imaging. Algorithms namely as ConvNets (CNNs), Artificial Intelligence Networks (ANNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) are proficient in analyzing radiographic data with minimal human intervention. This development aligns with the demand for automated solutions to reduce diagnostic workloads and improve accuracy. The fusion of AI and radiology aims to bridge the gap between human expertise and computational precision.

This paper investigates the trajectory of AI applications in bone age detection, tracing the evolution from traditional approaches to cutting-edge methodologies.

This paper examines the transformative impact of AI-driven approaches, particularly DLL and ML algorithms, which offer automated, objective, and rapid bone age estimations from hand and wrist radiographs. Banks2025-05-08T05:39:02-05:00Nijrup S. Visaninijrup1997@gmail.comDr. Kinjal Patelkinjalmba.patel@gmail.com
This research paper investigates the relationship between Net Non-Performing Assets (Net NPA) and Net Profit in two prominent cooperative banks: The Ahmedabad Mercantile Co-Operative Bank Ltd. and The Kalupur Commercial Co-Operative Bank Ltd. The study spans six financial years, from 2017-18 to 2022-23, analyzing financial data to uncover an intriguing pattern where an increase in Net NPAs is accompanied by a rise in Net Profits. To assess the strength of this relationship, Pearson correlation analysis was conducted, resulting in correlation coefficients of 0.9996 and 0.95 for the respective banks. These findings indicate a strong to near-perfect positive correlation between Net NPA and Net Profit.

The findings challenge conventional banking norms, where higher NPAs typically erode profitability. Despite increasing asset quality concerns, these banks have managed to sustain and grow their profits. This suggests the presence of effective operational strategies, diversified income streams, and robust cost management practices that mitigate the adverse effects of rising NPAs.

However, while profitability growth reflects strong management practices, the increasing NPAs highlight the potential risk to long-term financial health. The paper underscores the importance of investigating underlying profit drivers and enhancing credit risk management to sustain profitability while addressing asset quality issues (Mahida R., 2024).

Recommendations include implementing stronger NPA recovery mechanisms, diversifying lending portfolios, and improving monitoring frameworks. This dual approach aims to ensure that profits continue to grow while simultaneously reducing NPAs, thereby enhancing the overall resilience and sustainability of the banks. Viksit Bharat 2047 refers to India’s vision of becoming self-reliant, fully developed, and globally influential by 2047.

2047 is the year when our freedom will complete 100 years. Viksit Bharat 2047 aligns with SDG 2030. It is based on “GYAN”, which represents four pillars: Garib (The Poor), Yuva (The Youth), Anndata (The Farmer), and Nari (The Female).

Globally, females have a tremendous role to play in achieving SDG 2030. In 2011 181,616,925.000 females were Urban females, according to consensus. The female population percentage of India's total population was 48.42% in 2023. According to the World Bank collection of development indicators, the female (% of total population) in India was reported at 48.42 % in 2023.

India’s total urban population has increased significantly. It is estimated to be around 35-40 % of total population. However, the urban female population is still hovering around 48%. Estimated Urban Housewives Population: Urban women constitute approximately 35-40% of India’s total urban population (as of 2023 estimates). Assuming urban women number around 200-220 million in 2023 and considering that 80% or more are housewives, the urban housewife population is likely around 160-180 million.

The contribution of Urban housewives is often overlooked, when their role spans multiple dimensions, including environmental sustainability, education, economic participation, and community building. Their number is huge; consequently, a wider role can be expected in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2030) and achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. This paper provides a systematic review of 19 research papers published in the last five years, 2018-2024 the study found that agro-tourism is fairly the newest area of research interest of most researchers highlighting that there is a gradual increase in the number of publications every year with a peak in the year 2023 where a significant number of 31.6% papers were published. Based on the previous literature, the roles of agro-tourism break into the following categories; the impacts of improved quality of existing rural income, employment generation, and lastly the impacts on promoting sustainable agriculture practices. Examples of India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka show how agriculture tourism smooths the rural-urban divide where farmers are locking tourism to earn extra bucks without compromising the authenticity or environment.

However, there are challenges that agro-tourism still experiences within Tanzania these include; infrastructural challenges, lack of clear policy blueprints, and low-level engagement of stakeholders. The paper focuses on state-led programs, capacity building, and sustainable development measures to overcome these barriers. Recommendations show that internet marketing tools and online platforms are revealed as significant factors that need to be harnessed to enhance agro-tourism destinations around the world. It provides measures such as improving physical and financial access to rural markets, raising the number of farmers' support programs, developing PPP for commercialization of agro-tourism centers, and other measures. Moreover, the study follows a policy recommendation advocating for community use with sustainability incorporated to deliver long-term values.

Accordingly, the research establishes that agro-tourism has the potential to catalyze socio-economic change, only if the barriers are removed through more participatory approaches. Goalkeeping necessitates specific skills such as agility, coordination, and mental concentration. (Coutinho, 2024) We carried out an 8-week training program featuring organized play-based activities with 49 children to tackle this challenge. Sessions took place six times a week, and the goalkeeping skills were evaluated both prior to and following the intervention using the McDonald Soccer Skill Test. (MSU, 2019) The results indicated significant advancements in all age categories. In the under-6 age group, average scores rose from 3.0 to 5.5, whereas the under-9 group saw an increase from 5.26 to 10.73. Statistical evaluations, including paired t-tests and measures of effect size, validated the effectiveness of the program, with Cohen's d values suggesting considerable effects. (Wong, 2022) Younger participants acquired fundamental skills like hand-eye coordination, while older children honed more advanced techniques such as shot-stopping and decision-making. The research underscores the advantages of incorporating recreational activities into youth sports training. In addition to technical enhancements, participants gained increased engagement, teamwork, and self-confidence, reinforcing the idea that play-based methods are effective for teaching goalkeeping. This strategy aligns with the developmental requirements of young children, fostering both skill development and ongoing interest in football. (Daisy Fancourt, 2021) These results contribute to youth sports education by providing a scalable, engaging framework for coaches and educators. This research highlights the importance of integrating enjoyment and organization in training to enhance technical abilities, physical fitness, and a lasting love for sports. Given this basic unifying truth, the fact that the desires and greediness of humans are harming more and more other species and their habitats is the most alarming challenge. This paper highlights the concepts of Niṣkāma karma and Yajña from the famous Indian scripture Bhagavad Gita along with Heartfulness practices to address the current environmental problem. In the modern world, living standards have improved from a very basic level to one that is highly sophisticated and complex. All of this has been made possible by science and the different fields that have been produced through the diligent labour of the world's thinkers. Even though all this progress is supposed to make people's lives better, issues still seem to be worsening. As a result of our desire to become better, we have caused more damage to the ecosystem. Our increasing number of desires and the attitude of possessing more than what is required leads to adharmic ways of living, which in turn results in the deterioration of moral and ethical values in society. To carry along with society in a more responsible way, we as humans need to put selfish agendas aside and consider larger issues. Respecting the principle of mutual dependence is another important aspect that must be taken into consideration. All living beings in this universe are mutually dependent on one another, including non-living entities. Unless this principle is thoroughly understood, there is no case for developing sustainable solutions for anything we undertake in life. The concept of Yajña from the Bhagavad Gita addresses this problem.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2193Harnessing the Transformative Power of Applied Theatre to Foster Speaking Skills Among Tertiary-Level Students: A Pathway to Achieving SDG 4 for Viksit Bharat@20472025-05-06T05:17:53-05:00Ajesh C.atc.ajesh@gmail.comDr. Supriya Samnoelvijaya.samnoel@reva.edu.in
The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly reshaped education, challenging traditional classroom practices and compelling educators to innovate. An Exploration of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone & Dracula2025-05-06T08:37:35-05:00Dr. Roop Kanwalroopkanwal35@gmail.com
Human values play a crucial role in guiding individuals toward actions that contribute positively to societal progress. These values are often revealed in times of fear, adversity, or confusion, and they are foundational to human development. Among the greatest fears that individuals face is the fear of death, a force that instigates change and transformation. For those who seek power, the prospect of losing it is terrifying. However, the desire to overcome these fears, especially through immortality, leads to a loss of human values. Immortality, when sought solely for domination and control, results in a loss of empathy and a descent into cruelty. Fantasy literature, through characters such as Voldemort from Harry Potter and Dracula, exemplifies the destructive consequences of immortality. These figures, though powerful and feared, ultimately pay a heavy price for forsaking their humanity. The portrayal of their monstrous existences serves to underscore the value of death over the perils of an eternal life devoid of meaning and connection. By examining such characters, the paper emphasizes the moral lessons drawn from fantasy literature, shedding light on how human values, cultural heritage, and societal norms influence sustainable development. The analysis connects these themes to broader discussions on fostering inclusive, culturally rich, and sustainable growth.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2225Node Localization in Wireless Sensor Networks using Swarm Intelligence2025-05-07T06:43:03-05:00Kalpesh Narendrakumar Pateldimps192005@gmail.com
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are used in different areas such as the environment, health, and defense where the node location is of extreme importance to facilitate data flow (Medium. n.d.). Traditional approach for localization which includes RSSI and TOA become vulnerable to interferences from the environment leading to so many errors and low efficiency. Classical global optimization techniques, like Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO)(Khan, S., Pathan, A. K., & Alrajeh, N. A. (2016), represent efficient discretional approximations based on swarm behavior imitation. PSO copies the migrant birds and makes the node placement of the network iteratively best by adding or removing nodes while ACO is the representation of ants in searching the optimal path based on the pheromone traces. These bio-inspired methodologies improve the accuracy of the localization process and decrease power consumption which is decisive for the existence of WSNs. This paper presents a new combined model based on PSO and ACO to enhance the accuracy (Computer Science Department, University of Ioannina. n.d.), convergence rate, and stability. Computation analysis of the proposed hybrid model shows that the model achieved a higher accuracy and efficiency of the node localization than a single PSO and ACO models while consuming fewer iterations. Additionally, graphs of node deployment and optimization show that this is relevant to real-world usage of swarm intelligence in WSNs. Therefore, this paper demonstrates the use of machine learning to enhance WSN localization and supports the inclusion of swarm intelligence to optimize these results under dynamic environments.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2241Nurturing Future Niveshaks: Fostering Stock Market Literacy Among School Students2025-05-08T03:59:41-05:00Aishwarya Potphodeapotphode17@gmail.com
Financial literacy is crucial for empowering individuals to make informed decisions in today’s evolving economic landscape. As India moves toward achieving its vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047, equipping the next generation with essential financial knowledge is of utmost importance. Among the various facets of financial literacy, understanding the stock market stands out as a vital skill for wealth generation and sound financial decision-making. However, stock market education remains underdeveloped in Indian schools, particularly among younger students.

This study explores the necessity of stock market education for school-going children, highlighting its long-term benefits for their financial futures. With the growing significance of the stock market in India’s economy, integrating this knowledge early is crucial to building a financially aware generation. The research adopts a mixed-method approach, combining both primary and secondary data. Primary data collected through the responses of the school students from SSC, CBSE and ICSE boards helped to gauge their understanding of the stock market and its relevance. Secondary data sourced from government reports, academic literature and SEBI’s published articles, including the initiatives like ‘Securities Market Trainers Program’ and the ‘Investors Awareness Program’. While these initiatives are steps towards making stock markets familiar, their implementation in schools is still limited.

By analysing these data sources, the study seeks to emphasize the importance of early financial education with particular focus to share market instruments and its potential impact on student’s future financial behaviour.

The research strongly advocates for the integration of stock market education into school curricula to ensure students develop financial literacy from a young age. Such an initiative would not only prepare students for making informed financial decisions but also cultivate a culture of financial awareness in future generations. The paper concludes with actionable recommendations for policymakers, educators and financial institutions to work collaboratively in designing and implementing structured, age-appropriate financial literacy programs. These programs should focus on stock market concepts and broader financial principles, ensuring they are accessible and relevant to young learners, offering a conducive learner friendly environment, thereby equipping them with the tools to navigate the complex financial landscape of the future.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2259Breaking the Cycle: Tackling Child Marriage, Social Injustice, and Gender Disparities in the Workforce2025-05-09T06:34:46-05:00Surosree Nathsurosree83nath@gmail.com
While "Gender Equality" is specified by SDG 5 and must be promoted by 2030, "Decent work for all," "sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth," and "full and productive employment" are those of SDG 8. Suppose we concentrate on the labor market, where participation in the workforce by men is 80% globally percentage of women participation hardly exceeds 50%. The female participation rate in the workforce was 34.1 percentage in 1999–2000. This rate of participation decreased to 27.2 percentage in 2011–2012 (ILO report). Supply-side and demand-side factors can analyse the reasons for the low participation rate in the workforce. We get several supply-side problems for which women are unable to participate in labour market, among them, one of the most important reason is early-marriage. Marriage is the most crucial institution for the Individual and the society at large. For the Individual, it is a significant and memorable event in one’s life as well as the most important foundation in the family formation process. However, “Early age marriage is one of the most prevalent forms of sexual abuse and exploitation especially among the adolescent girls. It serves as a means of perpetuating power imbalances between men and women, both in the home and outside” (Ghosh, Jan-Dec., 2011). Early age marriage has adversely influenced Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in underdeveloped countries including India. Moreover, child marriage has five domains of impacts on adolescent girls: (i) fertility rate and population growth; (ii) health, nutrition level, and violence; (iii) level of educational attainment (iv) labor force participation, earnings, and productivity; and (v) power of decision-making and other areas (Wodon, et al., 2017).
2025-05-09T00:00:00-05:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2200Engineering Solutions for a Sustainable Future - Exploring Mechanical Engineering's Crucial Function in Contesting Climate Alteration and Environmental Degradation Intended for Nurturing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS)2025-05-06T06:35:10-05:00Assoc. Employment remains the primary reason for male out-migration, while marriage is the predominant driver of female migration. High poverty rates and socio-economic vulnerabilities among Scheduled Tribes (STs) further complicate the migration landscape in the state. Data from the Census 2011 D-series on migration reveal that the rate of male and female out-migration from Chhattisgarh for economic reasons, such as work and employment, is double the national average. This underscores the state’s economic dependence on migration. Migrants from poorer and less developed regions, like Chhattisgarh, often prefer industrialized and urbanized states as destinations, with Maharashtra emerging as the most popular choice for migrants from the state. While high rates of migration from poorer states can result in a loss of human capital needed for local development, migration also offers potential benefits, such as reducing unemployment and generating remittances. This dual impact highlights the need for a nuanced approach to migration policy. This paper also examines trends in reason-specific intra-state migration among the ST community, offering valuable insights for designing targeted policies. Migration in Chhattisgarh reflects and perpetuates socio-economic inequalities, necessitating a comprehensive approach to address its challenges A detailed understanding of these trends is essential for addressing economic disparities and promoting inclusive development. While we recognize the importance of a healthy body and sound mind, deep down in our hearts, we also acknowledge the essence of our being, our soul. Our soul, the higher presence within, sustains life and guides us if we allow it to do so. We are part of a unified whole. Quantum theory backs this spiritual truth when it gives the account of quantum entanglement and states that the world is not made of individual particles, rather, it is an inseparable whole. Just as nutritious food and exercise support the body, and intellectual pursuits enrich the mind, meditation is essential for nurturing the soul and aligning with universal consciousness. Heartfulness practice, supported by its unique feature of yogic transmission, nourishes the soul and harmonizes life’s material and spiritual dimensions, fostering balance and growth. Just as a bird requires both wings to soar, balancing these two aspects is crucial for reaching greater heights in both realms. Heartfulness philosophy is based on this principle and offers a set of practices that can be seamlessly incorporated into contemporary lifestyles. It is the modified form of Raj Yoga, the king among Yogas as truly expounded by the ancient seers of truth. Because of their easily adjustable features, such as their electrical neutrality and high penetration, high-tech materials are usually used to attenuate the neutrons in these applications. In addition to lead, other common materials include borated polyethylene and concrete. But these materials are big and heavy, and they have environmental problems that could lead to a shift to alternative technologies.

Metallic amorphous alloys (MAA), also referred to as bulk metallic glasses, are one of the newest scientific developments with enormous promise for neutron shielding because of their amorphous atomic structure. The amorphous structure of metallic alloys is thought to be responsible for their distinctive characteristics. The alloy has a high mechanical strength, is corrosion-resistant, and remains stable at high temperatures. Composition flexibility is made feasible by the fact that MAAs can contain elements like as boron, gadolinium, and dysprosium, all of which have a very large neutron capture cross-section and enhance both thermal and fast neutron attenuation.

The extraordinary versatility and properties of MAAs make them a suitable option for the next generation of materials to be used for neutron shielding. To quantify returns, the research uses the Index Dashboard data as of December 2024, making calculations based on monthly, three-month, yearly, three-year, and five-year periods. Then, the risk measures, including volatile, beta, and correlation factors, are measured to analyze the risks faced; furthermore, the indexes valuation is done by the P/E; and P/B ratios. A similar result is obtained by applying a paired t-test to compare short-term and long-term returns, whereby the superiority of the rates in long-term investments is evidenced. Indeed, the Kruskal Wallis H test for testing diversification across the indices of volatility does not show much cross-volatility, which means that cross-volatility-based diversification may not be very significant. The correlation analysis has revealed that most of the linked Nifty indices mainly reflect the general market and provide relatively meager diversification advantages. However, their indices that have lower market correlations represent good opportunities for diversification. The results do stress the issue of choosing indices with good return characteristics and comparatively low variability for portfolio stability in the long run. This study helps the investors and policymakers to know about the Nifty indices' performance and about the risks associated with them which leads to better investment and market planning of the companies.
2025-02-25T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 Vidhyayana - An International Multidisciplinary Peer-Reviewed E-Journal - ISSN 2454-8596https://j.vidhyayanaejournal.org/index.php/journal/article/view/2219Sustainable Development Goals 2030: Bridging Gaps, Building Futures for Vikshit Bharat@20472025-05-07T04:58:53-05:00Dr. Reeta Dwivedireeta.dwivedi@miercollege.in
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, established by the United Nations, serve as a comprehensive blueprint for addressing global challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, and sustainable growth.
