Abstract

The study focuses on the synthesis, spectral studies and antimicrobial activity of 4-(2’-n-butyl-4’-chloro-1’-H-imidazol-5’-yl)-6-aryl-1,6-dihydro-2-mercapto pyrimidine derivatives against Gram +ve bacteria, Gram –ve bacteria and fungi. The products have been characterized by IR, 1H NMR, Mass Spectra and TLC.
